Camping in Kentucky: The Paper Loft Layout

These are the last two layouts I created with The Paper Loft Hooked on Fishing and Huckleberry Pond collections.  I cut one piece of paper using the Creative Memories Doodling Template:  Playful and Festive and used the reverse side on each page.

I created a pocket out of a half circle to hold the park map.

On page two I used the Creative Memories border maker evergreen cartridge on the Paper Loft wood grain paper, too cute.

Dog Days of Summer Hooked on Fishing & Huckleberry Pond

I love these photos of K with his shoes thrown over his shoulder and his fishing pole.  I used the Creative Memories border maker system to create the edges.

Camping Layout using The Paper Loft Hooked on Fishing

More Hooked on Fishing and Huckleberry Pond papers from The Paper Loft.  I was starting to run out of paper so I added a tan card stock to mat the titles, photos, and date box.  I used Creative Memories sticker letters in Classic Brown.

Creative Memories New Vintage Chic!

I am lovin' this new Creative Memories Vintage Chic!  Here I used it to scrap our trip to Lookout Mountain, TN.

Here I made a "page and a half"

Inside of the "half page".

The letter tiles are so neat!!  I absolutely love the little words like "the" and "and" saving some basic letters.

Page two uses the super cool Vintage Chic designer pockets to hold our tickets.  I put a paper tag on pop dots and used a paper tab.  I love the new designer elements.  Tiles, pockets and tabs.  Vintage Chic is my favorite new CM product!

Even the mats are super cool!

Huckleberry Pond & Hooked on Fishing: the Paper Loft Challenge

I used the tearing tool from Creative Memories to create the "mat" which is just left overs from making all the banners for these challenges.  The background paper is from the Hooked on Fishing line from The Paper Loft.  The real wood look is quite popular lately, but this line does such a great job with so many earthy colors of wood.  I purchased several.

Two companion pages, both using the Paper Loft challenge.

More Paper Loft Huckleberry Pond

Another Paper Loft Layout with Huckleberry Pond and Hooked on Fishing.  I used the Creative Memories custom cutting system jumbo fancy square pattern.  CM brown sophisticate sticker letters for the titles and Huckleberry Pond "summer"' embellishment.

Although not a "two page" layout using the same product lines make the pages complimentary.

The Paper Loft: Basking in the Sunshine

As I promised more layouts using Hooked on Fishing and Huckleberry Pond from The Paper Loft.  I cut the circle of the sun from the inside of the Creative Memories jumbo circle pattern and the "rays" of the sun are scraps.  The paper is just perfect for my pictures from a hike!

The Paper Loft March Sketch Challenge Again

In this version of The Paper Loft sketch challenge I used the current collections of Huckleberry Pond and Hooked on Fishing.  I went to the Thursday night techniques class at CKC in Cincinnati this past fall.  The Paper Loft used the dragonfly paper from the Huckleberry Pond collection.  I fell in love with it.  The next day I went shopping in their booth and purchased some from Huckleberry Pond and some coordinating from Hooked on Fishing.  I also purchased embellishments from both collection primarily about camping.  So with these papers already on my desk, I worked ahead and scrapped some camping from August.  I will post those layouts soon.  I loved working with these collections.  I used a Creative Memories template to cut out the "frame" and the tearing tool to tear the mat.  The sticker letters are also from Creative Memories.

Hex border maker layout using Days of Summer title stickers

Duplicating the pattern from the center sticker, I used the Creative Memories Hexagon Place and Punch.   I punched some hex's from the CM carribean blue paper.  The light gray was some random paper strips I had.  I used the CM border maker hexagon cartridge on both and overlapped them on top of the embossed gray cardstock from the CM It's a boy cardstock pack.

Detail.  The stickers are from the Days of Summer Title Sticker pack.

I was finishing up my 2010 albums and needed a cover page for the Summer album.  My son took these pictures in Key West.

The Paper Loft challege card

Here is a card based loosely on the sketch made using leftovers from the layout I did!  The Paper Loft Flip Flop collection and a flower, leaf, brad and corners.

The Paper Loft Sketch Challenge

Here is my offering for the current Paper Loft Sketch Challenge going on until March 31st.  I used an old set of papers and embellishments I had from a CKC or Megameet.  The collection is called Flip Flop.  I was making a final cover page for my 2010 fall album.  Now four scrapbooks of 2010 are complete except for trying to get my son to journal some of his trip to Key West.

Detail of folder full of leaves.  I used some old Creative Memories punches to cut the leaves.

Leaf detail.  Chalked edges, of course, it just adds so much depth to an element.

Creative Memories Days of Summer Stickers

Creative Memories just released these Days of Summer Title Stickers and Layered Stickers.  I thought they were perfect with the background paper that I picked out because of my son's shirt.  It had green splatters so I used the CM Green apple cardstock.  The stickers had gray so I used the gray dotted paper from the new CM It's a boy cardstock.  Since it was embossed I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder to emboss a sunshine ray in the random red paper I found.  The green apple is cut in a star shape with the CM custom cutting system.  I also sprayed it with a teal Ditto glimmer spray and a Tim Holtz mask.

Highlights from a small Creative Memories album using Border Maker system

These are my favorite pages from the Valentines' gift I made my man.  On this first page I used an old Creative Memories 8x8 paper from a Halloween pack.  I used some newer stickers and laced them on floss to give it the very fashionable "banner" look.

Here I used the CM border maker cartridge picket fence and laces some ribbon through.  I made the banners out of scraps of the beautiful CM Bountiful 8x8 paper pack.

The second page I also used scraps for banners and random letters and words on the banners.

Matt does not like the picture on the right and it was his gift so I punched out the key elements with the CM star punch and layered some paper behind.  I absolutely love how I used the star quote across both pages.

CM border maker with wave cartridge.  CM Color Me Happy 8x8 paper pack and the flowers came from a Storyteller's Club monthly kit.

I tried a rustic looking flower since this was for my man.

Close up of button and twine accents.

These are my favorite two pages.  I used Jolee's stickers,  CM border maker double heart cartridge and scallop cartridge.

My Life is a Zoo! Lickety Split CKC goody bag

I created this layout pretty much per instructions.  I thought it was super cute.  I received one page at the Friday night crop of CKC Cincinnati and the second in the CK goody bag! So glad because I had to have both!  It was too cute and I had a lot of pictures from our trip to the Louisville Zoo.

I love the giraffe diecut!
Close up of the embellishment cluster.  I love the fiber.  The metal bottle caps are a bit bulky for my normal scrapbooking.
