Shoot for the moon!

Hello, Alicia here today with a pretty card of encouragement. I chose to keep the background colors varying shades of dark blue like the night sky. I think the colors keep this card gender neutral as well. I found a scrap of this wonderful textured silver paper from which to cut my moon and stars. I also used a new helpful tool, the Tutti Designs Metal Adapter Plate. It makes the details of fine dies like the moon from Cheery Lynn Designs Hippie Heroine very distinct. All the bits and pieces just fell out of the die, very little weeding is needed.

After die cutting the panels with my new Frantic Stamper Stitched Corner cut Tags , I felt the card needed a little more, so I used the Cheery Lynn Designs Mandala Doily 1 to make a cut with the scrap silver paper. I didn't need to cut the entire die since I only need four "loops" to accent my corners. I cut the "loops" apart and tucked them behind the cut corners. The bohemian details of the moon are accentuated beautifully with the doily accents.
